Master of Science in Accounting Overview

  • 30 unit program (18 accounting units, 12 elective units)
  • Electives can be focused on a particular concentration area
  • Typically completed in two to four semesters, depending on prerequisites needed
  • Fall and Spring start dates (and Summer for prerequisites)

Online Master of Science in Accounting Overview

  • Designed for working professionals and students with an undergraduate background in U.S. GAAP accounting
  • 30 unit program (18 accounting units, 12 elective units)
  • Electives can be focused on a particular concentration area
  • Can be completed in one year of full time study, or two years of part time study
  • Fall, Spring, and Summer start dates

  • Designed for students needing to complete additional courses necessary to obtain a CPA license
  • Also designed for students needing summer prerequisite courses to be eligible for the Online MSA program
  • Minimum of 9 graduate accounting units (aside from required prerequisites) to obtain certificate
  • Prerequisites offered in Summer, graduate accounting courses offered in Fall and Spring
  • After completing prerequisites, students can apply for OMSA and graduate accounting courses taken during Certificate program can be applied to the OMSA
