Employers looking to recruit qualified accounting students, have a number of avenues to get in contact with candidates. These avenues include through UA Career Services, Meet the Firms, and department job postings.

Meet the Firms
Meet the Firms is an event put on by the Department of Accounting once a semester which is a career-fair type of event. Accounting students are highly encouraged to attend. At this event, students get to meet professionals from approximately 25 accounting firms. These firms include local, regional, national, and global accounting firms, industry firms, and governmental entities as well.
Meet the Firms is a great way for students to personally meet and network with professionals from different firms. Students can learn more about career opportunities, internships, externships and full-time positions being offered. After Meet the Firms, students apply for various career opportunities and if selected to interview, the first round of interviews takes place at Career Services on campus.

The Eller College of Management and the University of Arizona offer many resources to students seeking employment.
Eller Professional Development Center
The Eller Professional Development Center (PDC) strives to empower a diverse student population that actively manages career choices in the global marketplace, to develop the best-prepared job seekers, and to maximize students' chances for success by providing highly personalized services. The Accounting Department has two student led clubs, the Accounting Students Association and Beta Alpha Psi, that offer students an opportunity to network with recruiters and accounting firms. MAcc students are encouraged to join one or both of these organizations.
